A Family's Evolution
At K&B Floor Covering, our story is anchored by Bob, whose deep ties to Washington NJ shaped his journey. Starting at 17, he learned the flooring trade beside his uncle, gradually ascending from a helper to diverse roles in local stores. Over 30 years, Bob dedicated himself to installing flooring for both homes and high-rises, even in New York City.
In his mid-30s, after leading a major New Jersey floor covering company, Bob felt a new calling: to serve his community directly. With Kathleen, his wife, and a growing family, they leveraged their skills to establish Horizon Floors in 2006. Despite minimal marketing, their focus on exceptional service spread their reputation, leading to the birth of K&B Floorcovering in Easton, PA in 2009.
Amid the 2008 economic turbulence, our reputation and loyal customers sustained us. Our family's contributions, alongside our seven children and their unique abilities, enriched our journey. Today, Bob collaborates with his son Patrick at our Easton Showroom, as Patrick brings his installer experience and retail expertise to propel our family business forward.
